CHCH Kid of the Month

Kid of the month - Peterson Francois
Peterson Francois
       Peterson, or just Peter, quickly became one of my favorite kids here.  That's
not to say he is innocent or has a halo, but inside he does maintain an innocence
that is hard to pinpoint.  Peter is 15 and will be 16 in December.  He is just trying to
find right now where he belongs.  I'm so glad I'm here to help him find his way.

     Peter's dad is dead but his mom is alive in Cap Haitien.  He has been here for
almost 5 years now.  He has brothers and sisters that live with his mom in Cap
Haitien.

     Peter's favorite sport is soccer.  He wants to be an engineer when he grows up
but his favorite subjects are social studies and French.  I'm not sure how that
relates to being an engineer, but he's young and only in the 6th grade, so he has
lots of time to change his mind.
